Day 1: Arrival in Moshi
Upon your arrival in Moshi, you will be greeted by our friendly team and transferred to your hotel for a pre-climb briefing. Take this time to relax and prepare for the exciting journey ahead.
Day 2: Lemosho Gate to Big Tree Camp
After breakfast, we will drive to the Lemosho Gate where our trek begins. The trail takes us through lush rainforest as we make our way to Big Tree Camp for our first night on the mountain.
Day 3: Big Tree Camp to Shira 1 Camp
Today, we will trek through the heath and moorland zone, passing unique flora and fauna along the way. We will arrive at Shira 1 Camp for a well-deserved rest and stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
Day 4: Shira 1 Camp to Barranco Camp
Our journey continues as we ascend to Barranco Camp, crossing the Lava Tower along the way. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Western Breach and the stunning Barranco Wall as you settle in for the night.
Day 5: Barranco Camp to Barafu Camp
Today’s trek takes us through the alpine desert as we make our way to Barafu Camp, our base for the final push to the summit. Take this time to rest and prepare for the challenging ascent ahead.
Day 6: Summit Day and Descend to Mweka Camp
Rise early to begin the final ascent to Uhuru Peak, the highest point on Mount Kilimanjaro. Celebrate your achievement before beginning the descent to Mweka Camp for a well-deserved rest.
