Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be greeted by our friendly team and transferred to your hotel in Moshi. Get a good night’s rest and prepare for the exciting days ahead.
Day 2: Rongai Gate to Simba Camp
After breakfast, we will drive to the Rongai Gate and begin our trek through the lush rainforest. The trail offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape as we make our way to Simba Camp for our overnight stay.
Day 3: Simba Camp to Kikelewa Camp
Today, we will trek through moorland and heather zones, enjoying the changing scenery along the way. We will reach Kikelewa Camp, where we will spend the night under the stars.
Day 4: Kikelewa Camp to Mawenzi Tarn Camp
As we ascend higher, the landscape transforms into alpine desert, offering panoramic views of Mawenzi Peak. We will reach Mawenzi Tarn Camp, our home for the night.
Day 5: Mawenzi Tarn Camp to Kibo Hut
Today, we will trek to Kibo Hut, the final camp before our summit attempt. The excitement builds as we prepare for the challenging climb ahead.
Day 6: Summit Day and Descent
We will start our ascent to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa! The breathtaking views from the summit are worth every step. After celebrating our achievement, we will begin our descent to Horombo Hut for a well-deserved rest.
