Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania
Arrive in Tanzania and transfer to your hotel in Arusha. Meet your guide for a pre-climb briefing and gear check. Enjoy a welcome dinner and get a good night’s rest before the climb begins.
Day 2: Arusha to Shira Camp
After breakfast, drive to the Londorossi Gate to begin your trek. Hike through the lush rainforest to the Shira Plateau where you will set up camp for the night.
Day 3: Shira Camp to Moir Camp
Today’s trek takes you through the moorland zone to Moir Camp. Enjoy stunning views of the surrounding landscapes as you acclimatize to the altitude.
Day 4: Moir Camp to Lava Tower
Continue your ascent to Lava Tower, a striking rock formation at 15,000 feet. Take in the panoramic views before descending to Barranco Camp for the night.
Day 5: Barranco Camp to Barafu Camp
Today’s trek is challenging as you make your way to Barafu Camp, your base for the summit attempt. Rest and prepare for the final push to Uhuru Peak.
Day 6: Summit Day and Descent
Wake up early for the summit attempt. Reach Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa, and celebrate your achievement. Descend to Mweka Camp for a well-deserved rest.
