Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania
Welcome to Tanzania! Your adventure begins with a warm greeting from our friendly team at Kilimanjaro Habitas. We will transfer you to your hotel in Moshi for a relaxing evening before your climb.
Day 2: Umbwe Gate to Umbwe Camp
After a hearty breakfast, we will drive you to the Umbwe Gate where your thrilling journey to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro begins. The hike to Umbwe Camp will take you through lush rainforests and offer stunning views of the surrounding landscapes.
Day 3: Umbwe Camp to Barranco Camp
Today, you will continue your ascent through diverse terrain, including moorland and heath. As you trek to Barranco Camp, you will be rewarded with breathtaking vistas of the towering peaks of Kilimanjaro.
Day 4: Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp
Prepare for a challenging day as you tackle the famous Barranco Wall. Your perseverance will be handsomely rewarded with sweeping panoramas of the glaciers above. After conquering the wall, you will make your way to Karanga Camp for a well-deserved rest.
Day 5: Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp
As you near the summit, you will feel a surge of excitement and anticipation. The final push to Barafu Camp will test your endurance, but the sense of accomplishment will be unparalleled as you gaze up at the summit of Uhuru Peak.
Day 6: Summit Day and Descent
Today is the day you’ve been waiting for – summit day! With the support of our experienced guides, you will make your way to the Roof of Africa. The sunrise from Uhuru Peak is a sight you will never forget. After celebrating your achievement, you will begin your descent to Mweka Camp for a well-deserved rest.
