Day 1: Arrival in Moshi
Arrive in Moshi, where you will be greeted by our friendly guides from Kilimanjaro Habitas. Transfer to your hotel for a briefing on the upcoming trek. Relax and prepare for the adventure ahead.
Day 2: Lemosho Gate to Big Tree Camp
Start your trek at the Lemosho Gate, where you will begin your ascent through lush rainforest. Reach Big Tree Camp for your first night under the stars.
Day 3: Big Tree Camp to Shira 1 Camp
Continue your journey through the heather and moorland, with stunning views of the Shira Plateau. Arrive at Shira 1 Camp for a well-deserved rest.
Day 4: Shira 1 Camp to Barranco Camp
Today, you will hike through the alpine desert, passing the Lava Tower on the way to Barranco Camp. Enjoy incredible views of the Barranco Wall.
Day 5: Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp
Climb the Barranco Wall and traverse the Karanga Valley on your way to Karanga Camp. Enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
Day 6: Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp
Ascend to Barafu Camp, the final base camp before the summit. Rest and prepare for the challenging trek ahead.
Day 7: Summit Day and Descend to Mweka Camp
Rise early for the final push to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. Watch the sunrise from the Roof of Africa before beginning your descent to Mweka Camp for a well-deserved celebration.
