Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania
Arrive in Tanzania and transfer to your hotel in Moshi. Meet your guide for a pre-climb briefing and gear check. Relax and prepare for the exciting journey ahead.
Day 2: Londorossi Gate to Mti Mkubwa Camp
Start your trek at Londorossi Gate and hike through lush rainforest to Mti Mkubwa Camp. Enjoy the sounds of nature as you settle in for the night.
Day 3: Mti Mkubwa Camp to Shira 1 Camp
Trek through the heath and moorland zones, passing unique flora and fauna along the way. Reach Shira 1 Camp and marvel at the stunning views of the Shira Plateau.
Day 4: Shira 1 Camp to Moir Hut
Ascend to Moir Hut, where you will be rewarded with panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Explore the Moir Valley and acclimatize to the altitude.
Day 5: Moir Hut to Buffalo Camp
Continue your journey through the alpine desert, crossing rocky terrain and rugged landscapes. Arrive at Buffalo Camp and rest up for the next day’s ascent.
Day 6: Buffalo Camp to Third Cave Camp
Hike to Third Cave Camp, passing through the Lava Tower and Barranco Wall. Enjoy the challenge of the steep terrain and the sense of accomplishment as you reach your campsite.
Day 7: Third Cave Camp to School Hut
Make your final push to the summit as you trek to School Hut. Prepare for the midnight summit attempt and soak in the anticipation of reaching Uhuru Peak.
Day 8: Summit Day and Descend to Mweka Camp
Begin your ascent to Uhuru Peak, the highest point on Mount Kilimanjaro. Celebrate your achievement before descending to Mweka Camp for a well-deserved rest.
