Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania
Arrive in Tanzania and transfer to your hotel in Moshi. Meet your guide and fellow climbers for a briefing on the upcoming journey.
Day 2: Rongai Gate to Simba Camp
Begin your trek at the Rongai Gate and hike through lush rainforest to Simba Camp. Enjoy stunning views of the surrounding landscape along the way.
Day 3: Simba Camp to Kikelelwa Camp
Continue your ascent through the moorland zone, passing by unique flora and fauna. Arrive at Kikelelwa Camp for a restful evening under the stars.
Day 4: Kikelelwa Camp to Mawenzi Tarn Camp
Hike to Mawenzi Tarn Camp, located at the base of Mawenzi Peak. Marvel at the beauty of the surrounding mountains and glaciers.
Day 5: Acclimatization Day
Take a day to acclimatize to the altitude at Mawenzi Tarn Camp. Enjoy a short hike to help your body adjust to the higher elevation.
Day 6: Mawenzi Tarn Camp to Kibo Hut
Continue your journey to Kibo Hut, the final camp before summit day. Rest and prepare for the challenging ascent ahead.
Day 7: Summit Day
Rise early for the final push to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. Reach Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa, and celebrate your achievement. Descend to Horombo Hut for a well-deserved rest.
Day 8: Horombo Hut to Marangu Gate
Descend through the rainforest to Marangu Gate, where you will receive your summit certificates. Transfer back to Moshi for a celebratory dinner and overnight stay.
